Enjoy live music, food and craft vendors, bounce houses, face painting and more as the City of Irving hosts its annual Juneteenth celebration.
This year's celebration honors a number of talented African-American musicians who have shaped and redefined numerous genres of music over the past 100 years, including B.B. King, Ella Fitzgerald, Michael Jackson and Prince.
Juneteenth commemorates the date that Texans first learned of President Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation.
